In 2022, their song "Star Mine" won the MTV Breakthrough Song Award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2022. It also won the Excellent Work Award at the 64th Japan Record Award.
The group name "Da-iCE" is a combination of the words "DANCE" and "DICE," because "Da-iCE" is formed by the five members (five sides) plus the fans (the sixth side), and the "a-i" (Japanese for "love") in lower case expresses their desire to be an artist filled with love.
