ITEM, where Taiki Kudo serves as creative director, has announced the release of a special edition denim set from Wrangler for ITEM!

"ITEM" is an original apparel brand with Taiki Kudo as creative director.

As the second part of the new 2025SS collection [Season 04], Wrangler, a long-established American denim brand, has released a special order collection consisting of two styles of jacket and pants, specially created for ITEM.

The denim set, designed by Taiki Kudo with meticulous attention to detail, will go on sale on Tuesday, May 20th!

The long-awaited Wrangler special order is finally complete.
My personal favorite denim brand is Wrangler. Among the various denim brands that have taken off in the recent vintage boom, Wrangler has a long history, and while many of its silhouettes and constructions are a little unique and twisted, they are still reasonably priced, which is what makes them appealing. One of their strengths is that they have produced many inventions that are still popular today, such as the Rancher, which was created in the 60s as cowboy dress pants. Flare pants originated with hippies and cowboys in the 60s and 70s, so perhaps there is something about that culture that appeals to me.

The special order items we've created this time are a set made with a light, stretchy fabric that's not too heavy. The jacket is based on 124MJ and is packed with vintage elements. The pants are an attempt to turn Wrangler's signature Rancher into denim. What's more, they're wider than the regular Rancher, making for a silhouette that's easy to coordinate with anyone. You can wear them as a set, separately, or just wear them as you like.
